Veto Session Half Over

The first three days of the six day veto session ended today. Here is what we accomplished. H.B. 2083 Advance Deposit Wagering passed in the Senate and is now in the House on the order of Concurrence. The bill extends A.D.W. until July 1, 2013 It will be taken up in the House next week. The schedule is December 4th, 5th and 6th.

In the Senate next week a gaming “shell” bill that passed out of Senate Executive Committee will be voted on Tuesday the 4th and if passed will go to the House. The Senate President announced that they will only be in session Tuesday and Wednesday.

Look for the gaming bill to be addressed between January 3rd and 8th.
